Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategy execution and on-ground operations, ensuring business plans are successfully implemented by actively driving sales and store performance.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product and service offerings, aligning them with business objectives.
- Take full responsibility for store performance by directly engaging in sales, managing revenue, profitability, and cost efficiency.
- Work on the sales floor, leading by example in selling, engaging customers, and ensuring business success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives, balancing strategic planning with hands-on operations.
- Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging business opportunities to enhance Makro’s offerings.
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profit margins, to optimize store profitability.
- Develop and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and consistency across store functions.
- Track key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support strategic projects and initiatives, handling ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive revenue and profitability in alignment with corporate goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.
- 0-3 years of experience in business management, retail operations, or financial analysis.
- New graduated are welcome.
- Strong academic background with notable achievements in university coursework, internships, or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to actively sell, interact with customers, and drive revenue.
- Hands-on mindset—ready to step into the store, engage with customers, and lead business execution.
- Strong leadership qualities, adaptability to change, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in-store, actively sell, and be directly involved in business operations, with flexibility to relocate (both Bangkok & upcountry).
